InterVision Growth Results in Move to New Santa Clara Office
September 2, 2015
After more than 20 years as a leader in providing IT infrastructure solutions, Intervision Systems Technologies' success has led to the good kind of growth problem. With a rapidly expanding team, they acquired a 30,000 square foot building in Santa Clara as their new headquarters. But, before they could move in they needed to upgrade the space, and Toeniskoetter Construction was brought in to complete the renovations.
The new facility is twice as large as InterVision's old offices. The project included remodeling the main lobby, conference rooms, executive wing, bathrooms, open office area, call center and a small gym area. The space was given extra light and volume by means of glass walls and skylights above the open office areas. Click here to see photos of the project.
"We really appreciated the service and teamwork we got from Adam and his staff," said Jeffrey Kaiser, InterVision chairman and co-founder. “We are in the business of making our clients' businesses more productive, and it was great to be treated just the same way. We know the new space is going to contribute significantly to InterVision's continued growth trajectory.”
Working closely with Mr. Kaiser and architect Richard Pedley, project manager Adam Toeniskoetter was able to maximize the design vision while controlling costs.
"Our goal was to create solutions on how to incorporate the design ideas while keeping within our clients' budget," Adam Toeniskoetter said. “We were fortunate to have a client and architect who could articulate their vision, and we were able to find some creative solutions together.”
The remodel also required all new flooring and paint throughout the space. A new HVAC system was installed and the electrical system was modified. The open office areas required installation of a variety of different utility floor boxes depending on each department’s data and power requirements.
